- Outreach Events and Workshops - Mixed media artist Flora Viale offers customizable creative workshop services for museums to use in outreach programming. Viale works with groups to explore the creative possibilities of found materials and the limits of imagination. Originally from Italy, Flora has been an exhibiting artist and an art consultant in the United States for over 30 years, and holds a BFA and an MA in Art History from the State University of New York at Binghamton. www.floraviale.com
- Museum Blogs - Explore museums who blog at www.museumblogs.org. Blogs are an excellent way for museums and cultural orgnizations to keep their stakeholders and communities involved. They are a cost-effective means of communicating and sharing information in a format that people perceive as being more casual and personal, and to which they - as stakeholders - can contribute to through the blog's Comment feature. Heritance is exploring ways of using blogging to help our partner museums connect with their communities.
